The threat of the war in Gaza spilling over into a wider Middle East war has never been greater. The tense relationship between Tehran and Tel Aviv is stretched to breaking point. Israel’s missile strike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus led to the first ever direct attack by Iran on Israel. Western powers leapt to condemn Iran’s actions yet they conspicuously failed to condemn Israel for its provocations.
Meanwhile, Israel continues its slaughter in Gaza, continues to use hunger as a weapon of war, and the UK, along with the US, continues to supply Israel with arms.
