“There is a major war brewing”. These are the words of Trump’s closest advisor Steve Bannon.
Tension between the big powers is rising and the number of flashpoints is growing.
Stop the War needs to escalate its campaign and we are asking for your generous help to make this possible.
Since coming to power Donald Trump has threatened North Korea, provoked China and promised further escalation in the Middle East. Most worryingly, he wants to tear up the nuclear agreement with Iran setting the US on a collision course with the country.
Theresa May is desperate to deepen the special relationship that has caused so much mayhem over the last decades. With Trump in the White House this could hardly be more dangerous.
We have been central to the Trump protests, playing a key role in the recent 40,000-strong demonstration in central London.
In the last few months we have had new Stop the War groups springing up in towns and cities up and down the country. We are asking you to donate generously so that we can service these groups, sustain an increased level of staffing and upgrade our communications.
Now more than ever we need an anti-war movement with real power.
The target for our appeal is £25,000. Please give generously to support Stop the War’s struggle for peace and justice.
